Bodegas Enguera is an organic family winery whose third generation is committed to R&D in organic agriculture, winery production and sales.

With the arrival of the third generation of this family winery, the growth in income in the last 5 years has been constant. Its commitment to the ability to adapt, especially in international markets, has become a success. Thanks to the research of wine markets in the center of Europe, they are studying the appearance of a family of new Mediterranean and organic wines very adapted to the tastes of consumers in the destination countries.

They used the innovative Wine Luthier technology to identify the opportunity in the desired market segment. Different successful wines were analyzed in order to pinpoint the exact profile with which to go to market with varieties available in their Winery such as the regionally widespread Monastrell or the French variety Marselan, of which Bodegas Enguera is one of the pioneering producers in its area.

Development

Once the Wine Positioning System (WPS) results were obtained and the appropriate profile was identified, they decided to use the Marselan variety as the basis for the construction of this new wine.
WPS technology was used during the research phase, the development phase and continues to be used with the finished product to ensure consistency in each batch.

Go to Market

Aliats was launched in 2020, marking a milestone for Bodegas Enguera in many aspects. The reception of the wine has been excellent, maintaining a steady growth rate and helping to build customer loyalty by providing them with a wine of greater value. This system for identifying market trends and detailed wine profiles with Wine Luthier WPS, and the ongoing collaboration, led to a research and development phase, a wine creation phase and rapid commercial success.
